MPA項目的課程設(shè)置來說，一般包含三方面的內(nèi)容：
（1）核心課程，相當(dāng)于我們所說的專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)課，一般包括公共管理和政策研究的理論基礎(chǔ)、分析方法及技巧；
（2）選修課，即學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的專業(yè)領(lǐng)域或主攻方向以及個人需要與興趣而選擇一組課程（一般圍繞公共管理和公共政策的實質(zhì)領(lǐng)域選擇主攻方向）；
（3）公共管理和公共政策的實習(xí)與研討班，主要是讓學(xué)生將所學(xué)知識和方法運用于公共管理與公共政策實踐中，獲得在真實的管理世界中分析、解決問題和實際管理的能力。
