45 秒鐘閱讀時間到之后，考生會聽到兩個人談論該話題，其中有一位學生會就短文中所提到的話題表達自己的觀點。觀點十分鮮明，十分贊同或者是強烈反對并且會給出理由，時間基本是 60~80 秒。該聽力對話僅播放一遍。
聽完錄音之后，考生開始答題，問題一般都會讓考生總結剛才聽力是如何對閱讀文的內容支持或者是反駁的。準備時間 30s，回答時間 60s。
