Please submit this at least one week before your audition to jazz@gsmd.ac.uk.

Performance of an excerpt (minimum 32 bars) of a solo you have transcribed. You should perform this to the original recording – please bring this on a device with a 3.5mm output jack.

You may be asked at interview asked to identify harmonic progressions, intervals and common chord qualities.

The panel may discuss your musical experience and ambitions during the audition process.
