漢語前置詞、(英語:preposition,前置詞,因?yàn)闈h語介詞一般前置),在語法里是一個(gè)用來表現(xiàn)一個(gè)字的文法功能的詞匯或字綴。一般用在代詞或名詞性質(zhì)的短語前面,和這些詞合起來組成介詞結(jié)構(gòu),以表示處所、時(shí)間、狀態(tài)、方式、原因、目的、比較對(duì)象等的詞,去掉后原句意思改變。

1. back to back 背靠背,背對(duì)背
The children sat back to back so they couldn’t see each others’ drawings. 孩子們背靠背坐著,以免看見彼此的畫。
另外,該短語還可表示“接連地”“接二連三地”。如:

2. eye to eye 看法完全一致,有相同的看法

若表示“與……面對(duì)面”,后接介詞with。如:
Suddenly I found myself face to face with the young man. 突然我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己和那青年面對(duì)面地站著。
The burglar turned the corner and found himself face to face with a policeman. 盜賊一拐彎面對(duì)面地碰上個(gè)警察。
4. shoulder to shoulder 肩并肩
The route of the procession was lined with police officers standing shoulder to shoulder. 游行所經(jīng)路線兩邊肩并肩站滿了警察。
We went on board and saw these people packed shoulder to shoulder on the decks. 我們上了船,看見這些人在甲板上肩挨著肩擠在一起。
該短語還引申指“同心協(xié)力地”。如:
We will need you and the chairman standing shoulder to shoulder on basic positions. 我們需要你和主席在一些基本立場上共同進(jìn)退。
該短語也可用連字符連成一個(gè)詞。如:
